Counsel instructed to defend our client was Mr Adam Kane QC of Carmelite Chambers.

The Prosecution Case | Bribery, Corruption and Fraud | Kangs Solicitors

The Crown alleged that various companies, including BSI Nordale, made corrupt payments to one of the defendants, Mr Harper, who had previously been convicted of similar offences.

Mr Harper held a senior role within the Royal Household and was responsible for awarding contracts for building and maintenance works.

It is alleged that these corrupt payments were made in order to secure lucrative and prestigious contracts.

Our client’s company entered into two contracts, which together were valued at around £1 million.

This was a complex and high profile investigation conducted by the authorities.

The Prosecution alleged that bribes were advanced in a covert manner and there was clear evidence of the manipulation of the processes and payments systems used by the Royal Household.
