Our client has been charged with Cheating the Public Revenue contrary to common law .

In the event of a jury convicting a defendant for this type of offence, there is no limit to the level of fine or prison sentence which can be imposed.

The severity of the sentence will very much depend on the circumstances of the offence for which a defendant is found to be guilty and the more sophisticated the offending,  the greater the sentence likely to be imposed.
