Share

As reported on this website on May 17th 2019, Kangs Solicitors has been defending a client charged with conspiracy to commit VAT Fraud, Tax Fraud and Money Laundering at Nottingham Crown Court.

Fergus Harrington of Kangs Solicitors reports upon the successful outcome.

The Circumstances | Kangs Crown Court Trial Team

  • The successful conclusion to this trial comes as an enormous relief to our client and marks the end of a very long battle by him to prove the innocence which he has always maintained.
  • Our client was charged over five years ago and his first trial was aborted due to technical procedural issues.
  • Of the four defendants, our client was the only one to be found not guilty by the jury; which verdict was unanimous.

Our Client’s Comments | Kangs Financial Crime Defence Team

“I can’t thank Kangs enough for their continued support over the last five years. I can’t describe the relief I felt after I was acquitted.

I am looking forward to getting back to normal life. Kangs were there with me every step of the way and fought for my innocence.

I always felt reassured knowing they were on my side. The service they provided was top drawer. The barrister they instructed to represent me was absolutely first class. Thank you.”
