Kangs Sports Client Makes Goal Scoring Comeback | Sports Solicitors

Share

Longstanding Kangs Sports client Marc Richards returned to action for Swindon Town on Saturday and marked his return with a goal to help Swindon Town beat Tranmere Rovers 3-2 in a thrilling match.

Marc was returning from a shoulder injury, which he picked up during a pre-season friendly last month and which led to him missing the start of the season. The Swindon Town manager, Phil Brown, had initially feared that the talisman would be out of action for some two months but, thankfully, the recovery was significantly quicker.

Swindon Town made an exceptionally poor start to the game going 0-2 within the first 15 minutes. The team then rallied and Marc Richards scored the equaliser in the 60th minute as Swindon ran out 3-2 winners with the 3rd goal coming in the final quarter of the game.

The experienced striker continued his excellent goal scoring record for Swindon Town. He joined the club in the January 2018 transfer window after almost four years with Northampton Town. The prolific striker made an immediate impact for his new club scoring 11 goals in 20 games last term.

We wish Marc and the team all the very best for the season as they look to consolidate their current position in the play-off places in SkyBet League Two.
