Kangs Sports wish to congratulate two of our footballer clients who made their Football League debuts this weekend and two footballer clients who continue to show why they are sought-after strikers.

Ryan Boot | Port Vale

Goalkeeper Ryan Boot made his debut for Port Vale in the League 1 fixture against Bury.

The 22 year old lined up in the Valiants’ defence alongside another one of Kangs Sports clients, namely the highly regarded centre back Nathan Smith.

Despite taking the lead twice, Port Vale were held to a 2-2 draw by their opponents.

Jamey Osborne | Grimsby Town

In League 2, the centre midfielder Jamey Osborne lined up for the first time for his new club Grimsby Town.

Jamey got off to a winning start as he helped Grimsby Town beat Notts County 2-0 at Blundell Park in front of a crowd of 5,421.

The midfield ace provided an assist for the first Grimsby goal and also made a significant contribution towards the second goal.

Jamey was pitted in a midfield battle against another one of Kangs Sports clients, the Irish International Michael O’Connor of Notts County.

Louis Moult | Motherwell

Kangs Sports client Louis Moult produced a goal-scoring performance for Motherwell in their Scottish FA Cup Fourth Round tie against the Glasgow giants, Rangers.

In front of a crowd of over 31,000 at Ibrox Stadium, Louis drew first blood for Motherwell with a powerfully headed opening goal with just sixteen minutes left to play.

The goal galvanised Rangers who scored two goals through Kenny Miller in the final ten minutes of the match to progress into the next round of the Scottish FA Cup.

Louis extends his hot goal scoring record and is now the third highest goalscorer in the top flight of Scottish football.

Marc Richards | Northampton Town

Kangs Sports client and centre-forward Marc Richards netted twice during Northampton Town’s League 1 game against the MK Dons.

The two goals were not enough to prevent the Cobblers losing out in a 5-3 thriller at Stadium MK.

A cut-throat defence arises where, during criminal proceedings, a defendant gives evidence on his own behalf and which is not only likely to strengthen the prosecution case but is designed to damage a co-defendant’s case to the extent that it may go as far as blaming the co-defendant whilst endeavouring to exonerate himself.
