Louis Moult Double Against Celtic
Motherwell FC, and Kangs Sports client, Louis Moult scored a first half brace in this weekend’s fixture against Scottish Champions Celtic, but his efforts could not stop the Hoops collecting all three points in what has been dubbed the ‘game of the season’ in Scotland.
Louis scored two fantastic goals in the first half as he put his Motherwell side 2-0 up at the break but the Well eventually lost the game 4-3, as Celtic scored a 90th minute winner.
The prolific forward’s first was a stunning finish as he lobbed Scottish international goalkeeper Craig Gordon with a deft touch which left the keeper stranded and only able to watch the classy finish as it found the back of the net. This was the first goal scored against the league leaders in over 10 hours of football.
His second was equally impressive as he struck a cross on the volley to beat the keeper to score his 10th goal of the season.
Gibbons First Team Debut
Congratulations to James Gibbons. The promising young Port Vale defender, and Kangs Sports client, made his first team debut in this weekend’s FA Cup Second Round demolition of Hartlepool United at Vale Park.
The Valiants comfortably won the game 4-0 in which the 18 year old full back played for the final 30 minutes alongside another Kangs Sports client, Nathan Smith.
James slotted in at right back and performed admirably making his lung busting and energetic runs for which he is renowned.
