Overjoyed Client | Rape Allegations Not Pursued | Kangs Sexual Offences Defence Solicitors

Share

Kangs Solicitors has successfully defended a client who was facing allegations of rape.

The client was an employee of a social media giant in Central London and the investigation was conducted by the Sapphire Unit of the Metropolitan Police.

Frances Murray of Kangs Solicitors reports on the circumstances.

The Allegations | Wrongly Accused Of Rape | Defence Solicitors

  • Our client’s former partner made allegations of rape resulting from an interview with Police following reports of two alleged assaults by our client.
  • The Crown Prosecution Service offered no further action as the result of the complainant failing to engage with the authorities and withdrew support for a Prosecution.
  • However, the complainant subsequently decided to pursue the allegations rape.
  • Further detailed communications with the Police over many months, during which the Kangs team emphasised to the Police the total inadequacy of the alleged evidence, resulted in the Police deciding not to pursue any further action against our client.

Naturally, our client was overjoyed at the outcome.
