Our client, a London based married man with extensive business interests in the Midlands, had formed a relationship with a female employee of a company that he traded with.
The Prosecution alleged that our client had visited her at her home and sexually assaulted her when she rejected his advances.

Our client denied the allegations and maintained that he had visited her home to break off the relationship, the existence of which he acknowledged.
Our client stated that she had become angry and when she assaulted him he had merely restrained her in order to protect himself and then left.
The Negotiations | Kangs Proactive Case Management Team
We pursued extensive representations to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) that the case should not proceed as the alleged victim’s evidence was not reliable.
Following our representations, the CPS reviewed the file with the result that, days before the Trial was due to commence, the CPS agreed to offer no evidence against our client and on Friday 13th January 2017, at Wolverhampton Crown Court, the case against him was dismissed.
Needless to say that our client as ecstatic with the result and put on record his appreciation for the hard work carried out by all those who worked on his case.
